Move everyone on your domain into your organization

Claim a verified domain, so everyone with an address on it belongs to your organization.

Claiming a domain makes your organization the only one anyone with an address on it can belong to. People on the domain who are in other organizations, often teams that started using Zym Labs on their own, are moved into yours as members. Use it when your company wants every account on its domain in one place.

You need to be an owner of the organization, and the domain must be verified in it. You'll be asked to confirm it's you.

How it works

  • Everyone who moves is removed from their current organizations and signed out of every product. They keep their accounts and join yours as members.
  • Some people never move: people whose account belongs to another organization's single sign-on, and anyone who is the only owner of another organization. Cloud lists them and why. The second group can move once they make someone else an owner there.
  • It's all or nothing. If any step fails, Cloud puts everyone back where they were.

Steps

Open the claim

Open Domains and the domain. If people on it are in other organizations, Cloud offers to claim it: choose Claim followed by the domain.

Review who moves

Cloud lists each person who moves, the organization they leave and their new role, Member, and the people who can't be moved.

Confirm

Type the domain to confirm, then choose Claim and move. Confirm it's you when asked. Cloud shows each step: removing people from other organizations, adding them to yours, signing them out and recording the change.
