Organization settings

Rename your organization, transfer ownership, set security emails, or delete it.

Settings holds your organization's name and ID, and the changes only an owner can make: transferring ownership, how members sign in, security emails and deleting the organization. Admins can see it but not change it.

Rename your organization

  1. Open Settings and change the Name.
  2. Choose Save changes.

The Short name can't change: it's in your organization's links and product sign-in. The Organization ID is what support may ask for.

Transfer ownership

  1. Under Transfer ownership, choose the New owner. Only admins are listed, so make the person an admin first in Members.
  2. Choose Make owner, and confirm it's you.

You stay an owner too, until you change your own role.

Set security emails

Members always get an email when their password or two-step verification changes. Under Security emails, choose whether they also get one for each sign-in from a new browser: Zym Labs default, On for members or Off for members. Members can still make their own choice. Turning the emails off asks you to confirm it's you.

Delete your organization

  1. Under Delete organization, choose Delete followed by its name.
  2. Type its short name to confirm, then choose Delete in 7 days, and confirm it's you.

For 7 days everything keeps working, and Cancel deletion stops it. Then Cloud removes every member, single sign-on connection and domain, and disconnects your products. Accounts that sign in through your single sign-on are deleted with it; people with their own Zym Labs login keep it.
